WOPC Newsletter March,2022

WOPC Program

Our infant program is geared to simulate all the comforts of home. From morning cuddles to afternoon playtime, your babies will experience a nurturing environment while gaining social skills and learning through play.

Our toddler programs are geared to encourage a more structured group environment which includes plenty of learning experiences through large group activities and exploration of various creative mediums. Your child will learn how to navigate their surroundings and create lasting relationships with their peers.

Our preschool programs focus on the ability of your child to gain knowledge through various aspects of curriculum. The teachers will follow the children’s lead to ensure their enjoyment of the program and to foster their love of learning and discovery. Your children will learn the social and cognitive skills that will prepare them for kindergarten.

Ms. Kim’s 33-year anniversary

This month we were able to celebrate Ms. Kim’s 33-year anniversary of employment at West Oakville Preschool!! Ms. Kim has been a part of West Oakville Preschool since it’s opening! She has been a wonderful mentor to all those who have followed in our centre. We are so very proud and appreciative of her hard work and dedication over the years. Congratulations Ms. Kim Ross on your amazing milestone!!

Fundraising supports from WOPC Families

In February our teachers were able to purchase a substantial amount of toys, puzzles, cognitive and gross motor items for their classrooms! This was made possible by the efforts and donations made by our wonderful parents through various fundraising events with Terra Greenhouses and Purdy’s Chocolates. We are so very blessed to have such wonderful and generous parents in our centre! We would like to thank every one of them for their continued support!
